Nice work there.
Goodness the 248 is a looker. Nice to see it without the cameras and mirrors. ...but yes, those tyres aren't really the business.

I could not stand Fujimi tires and ordered replacement set made by MFH. Those are probably the same as included in their own
kits. They are a bit pricey, but look a lot better, imho. Beside they have additional benefit of pre-printed logos, so I don't have to
deal with decals or tire stencils.
I've tried to make pictures from exact same angle, but unfortunately my background paper sheet has moved a bit. I think it
is still close enough to see differences well. IMO, model looks a lot better with replacement tires. Fujimi clearly need to
improve their work on tires.
First with original Fujimi tires
Second with tires from MFH
PS: I used wheels from F2007 kit for mock up, because I need to do some more work on 248F1's wheels yet. They are a bit different
in shape (better, imho) and I used Alclad Stainless Steel for them.

I really enjoy your WIPs. Clean pics and clean building style! Can't beat that!

Great work, Sergey. Agree with you, with MFH wheels you improved the model a lot.

Very nice looking model and the tyres (MFH) improve the car a lot.
BUT: The front right tyre is mounted in the wrong way (should mount the tyre the other way on the rim (turn 180°))
The arrow is pointing in the wrong direction now.
I could see that the wheel look on the MFH Tyres is also missing so i assume the pic is just basic setup to show us and would have been corrected anyway on final assembly.
Regards, Michael

It well seems the wheels are put on on a provisional way, I understandmiko3572 wrote:Very nice looking model and the tyres (MFH) improve the car a lot.
