Well, the DFV is obvious.
But there is a small addition in the top left corner.
For me it seems to be a device to fix an airbox on top of the funnels.
Edit:
I did a quick check. The Lotus 72C had it's airbox fixed at that position. It is also 50 years since Jochen Rindt's world title. So that would be my guess.

That device has a spring attached for the throttle movement

That was my first thought too, but that device is visible on both sides, while the throttle was only attached on the right side.Nelsonp wrote:That device has a spring attached for the throttle movement
Apart from that, we see the right side of the engine. The rear of the engine is on the left, the front is on the right.

As far as I remember the throttle movement is on BOTH sides - not only the left.

A DFV is good and bad because there are so many cars I want and so many I don't want

My uneducated guess would be a Lotus 49C before a 72C.

That bracket was on both sides for the throttle slides on both banks of cylinder. Deffo not an air box fitting. Central ignition box makes the subject 1968 onwards.
Last few MFH subjects have been uninspiring to me. You have to be very keen to buy C11 (particularly if you already splashed out on the C9) whilst 312B must have already been made by a significant number of F1M 1/12 modellers using the Tamiya kit. I would be a little surprised if previous Lotus 49 variants sold so well as to justify the release of another variant. However only MFH know!
I am hoping for MS80, T06, FW07, FW08, BT49, Hesketh 308 - or more unlikely still, Shadow DN5 or March 761!
Well done MFH though. Another intriguing subject...

Whatever it is, it appears only one version will be available.
