Yep, I stand by the C11
That takes it off my list of scratchbuilding projects.
Now Mr Hiro please also do it in 1:24 ( and the Bentley as well ).
I don't have the space and time for all these 1:12 projects...

Re: 1/12 MFH August
C11 could be correct. Even though it did NOT race at Le Mans that year - and MFH loves Le Mans cars.
BUT - engine is the same as used in the C9 - so this could be a nice short-cut for MFH.
I am not quite sure if this is a car I NEED-TO-HAVE or not. Anyhow it looks very good.

The C11 raced at Le Mans in 1991.allnie wrote:C11 could be correct. Even though it did NOT race at Le Mans that year - and MFH loves Le Mans cars.

Sorry - you are correct. I was only thinking about 1990.daveyman wrote:The C11 raced at Le Mans in 1991.allnie wrote:C11 could be correct. Even though it did NOT race at Le Mans that year - and MFH loves Le Mans cars.

Re: 1/12 MFH August
It was on for a win in 1991 but a bracket that carried the alternator broke according to Leo Ress in an interview a few years ago.
Re: 1/12 MFH August
Yes, and it presumably only broke because some perfectionist decided to anodize the bracket to make it look nicer.

Yes, that's it Jaykay. I couldn't remember the reason he stated but that was it.

Re: 1/12 MFH August
Sorry - but I just wonder - could it be the C9 in 1988 "dress"?? I quess that car must be very close to the 1989 winner.
