picture of the Dutch GP / Stewart car.In the transkit I don't see the front winglets and the airscoop. The provided extra cooler with housing is not on the JS car ?Daryl_Huhtala wrote:The scoop on the nose is there but doesn't show well in the picture. They've developed two variations from the basic kit so I wonder if an MS-10 might be coming.Jordan2.0 wrote:The Matra transkit seems to be incomplete ??Air scoop on nose cowling is missing and also the canopy is not correct...With the transkit you can only build the Beltoise version and not the Stewart one. That if my info is correct

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2020
The transkit is meant to transform the MS11 into another version of the MS11. The car which Jackie Stewart drove was the MS10 and the main difference between these two cars are the engines. Beltoise drove the Matra and Stewart the Cosworth.

A correct transkit into the Ford Stewart MS10 would be a GIANT project. Not very realistic.

I'm pleased to see the 935 slated for reissue; maybe there's hope for the Williams FW14B .............

Balls! Another must have with the 935. I thought they would give us some breathing space, but with the two 934s in short succession, I guess the 935 was inevitable. And the year's not over yet. Do we have an estimated release date?Jordan2.0 wrote:More tamiya reissues ..1/12 935 and 1/20 Fiat 1311

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2020
in past, 1/12 934 & 935 always got their release only few months apart, so one could expect this time it would be no different.
First 934's of latest round i saw going up for offer where listed on ebay.de, so it might be same this time too. Prices of 934 on ebay.de where also cheapest i've seen (almost discounted prices from start, Euro 123), will be no different with 935.
Really, not sure why Germany based builders would start to complain
Also, 935 gets a new number: 12057 (previous was 12038). So, what's missing in the kit?

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2020
Because we love complaining, that's why, duh . Also I need to start thinking about reserving some storage space for these large boxes... In that regard the 1/32 birds are really easy. You can put 4-5 of those kits in the same space one of those 1/12 big Ts takes up.
On the 934s, yes true. I was a bit surprised to see them go for that kind of money, which in the end pushed me to get one. I mean, seeing the old releases listed for twice that... And I've also noted the new kit number and was wondering why that was. So is this like the third number for essentially the same kit? With the announcement coming now, I think we may be looking at a release date in about 2-3 months or thereabouts. That's what I remember from the Vaillant 934.
