I love what I see :D :D :D :D :D

Interesting to see that they made the rear deck into several parts to create the difference between versions B, C and D but still have metal doors - my pet gripe.
Cheers,

Doors in white metal is good and bad. They tend to be very, very heavy. But on the other hand they can be adjusted to make them fit. That is not possible with resin.

Resin can be adjusted too. You just need to apply some different techniques. I don't like metal body parts either - especially when they get tumbled around during shipping.

I am very curious on what techniques do you use to adjust resin parts. Care to share ?
Was not happy about resin doors in 1/24 F1-GTR kit. They did not fit well at all and I had
no way to adjust them, especially after they were painted and decals were applied.

You can adjust resin with varying degrees of heat. I have used warm water and/or a hair dryer. Extreme caution needs to be taken. I think resin is much easier to work with than plastic when adjusting with heat. It should go without saying that you should not do this after paint and decals.

BTW, my 908/3 version D is on the way and should be on my bench by end of week.

For shaping resin parts, I like to use the hot air tip on my porta-sol butane soldering iron, since you can focus the heat on a small area.
Plus, resin is easier to add material to if it is too small. On my MFH 330 P4, the doors would not line up at all at the front edges. I like SuperFil, a two part aircraft filler available from Aircraft Spruce. I had to add quite a lot to the door skin edge to make the gaps look realistic, and the SuperFil does not easily come off from the thin edge I applied it to.
I don't think you could do this with a metal part.
