1:12 Tyrrell P34 Brake Ducts AVAILABLE NOW!

Post by willster127 »

Test Prints on these went great, a fellow F1m member has painted them up and test fitted and everything looks great, really happy with how these turned out. Available now on Shapeways, 2 materials available with slightly different resolution, and price...

Hi Willster 127
can I suggest a particular to be reproduced by Shapeway?
A detail missing from the kit of the Ferrari 312T of tamiya in 1/12 scale are the tanks that supply the air to the intake horns. They are, in reality, made of yellowish fiberglass (like the air intakes of the brakes) and are located under the intake horns.
I am attaching a photo of the detail inserted in the T2, 76 and 77 kits by the Model Factory Hiro.
regards,
Giovanni La Rosa

Could I also suggest a set of Monaco ducts for the Wolf WR1 in 1/12 and/or 1/20, rear was bare fiberglass and front enlarged, the 1/12 kit would need to be converted to the short wheelbase setup, but not a big deal to do this.
