Thanks for posting, I thought your F1 models in the club display were excellent, especially the white Honda.

Re: Australian Model Expo 2019
Hi Jeff,
I was thinking about coming down to Sandown for the Expo, maybe next year. Could even catch up with you and Shane etc.
Having to put up with damage done to a completed model is a pretty poor reflection on the event in my opinion. I trust the event organizers have been informed?
Cheers, Paul

Re: Australian Model Expo 2019
Ouch!
When I was there collecting my models at the end of the show, I saw another car had had it's aerial broken off - but at least with that one there was an apology note. No idea if it was damaged by judges or one of the thousands of visitors that filter through over the three days.
Interestingly, I'd previously had a conversation with a fellow club member about this very topic. He was of the opinion that if you put a model on public display, you have to accept the fact there is a small chance of damage. He told a story that many years ago at Expo, a gentleman had a seizure whilst looking at the club display and fell into the models! Thankfully he was ok, and somehow just two models received minor damage.
