Very sad news, but not totally unexpected with the recent medical issues.

What I admired about Niki was that he took his fortune and fame a parlayed it into Lauda Air providing employment. I was perhaps to be expected with how he approached life and F1. He was one of the last true personalities in F1, or at least allowed to have one. He beat that German priest's final blessing by nearly 43 years!

A one hundred percent legend. They made a movie about about him. He started out as a pay driver and took his talent and ambition to the top. One of a kind. You hear these cliches alot, but they truly apply to him.

Godspeed Champion. He's back with his old mates, James, Ronnie, Mike The Bike, Francois, Ayrton, Gilles, etc. Hope they're some cold beers to welcome him.
