Interesting bit. I've been going over the list of Porsches that I can think of would fit in the approximate time frame
as indicated by details (steering wheel, etc.). My initial guess was that it should be a car roughly from the 917 era
(1969-1973). So outside of the 917 that would basically leave the 908 and... the 914. If we widen the era somewhat
we have the 904 followed by the 906, 910, 907 and 908 and of course the 909 Bergspyder.

Anyway going over the list... I've only seen one 914-6 GT with such a wheel, so I think maybe not. Also the slicks do
not match. Then I thought, well maybe it is one of the later 908/3s one of the turbocharged cars that ran until the
early 80s. Again no proof I could find of slick tyres.
Then I thought back to the Porsche 917 Werksverzeichnis and remembered that during the development of the Can
Am car for Jo Siffert's Can Am efforts they were testing around with various tyres Good Year and Firestone and they
even tested slicks on it. They had profiled tyres at the front and slicks at the rear. And if you look at 917/10 imagery,
you'll find photos with slick tyres and of course also pictures with that wheel.

So there ya have it. Pure conjecture on my part . Now what two versions / liveries? Well obviously the iconic L&M
#6 started by Mark Donohue until he crashed then carried on by George Follmer until Mark returned and George got
the #7 to win the title (so hint hint, championship car) and maybe as the second livery, although there were plenty
later on as those cars ran in the Interseries for some time, the Vaillant one - because it as a beautiful colour scheme.

Final answer: Porsche 917/10 (1972)

@Roman: I will go for a more "normal" car based on a 911.
Do think it's something like a RSR or some kind of 935 variation.

Well, it's very hard this time. Even when we are sure it's a Porsche. Well done MFH.

Christian, you're right. 917/10 makes no sense - indicator stalks? yeah. Only took me a couple of hours to realize
that I've pointed those out before. Wheel hub / brake hat looks like what has been used on the 917s and 934s
(and other cars). The brake caliper in the first picture I can't quite place, two pistons but not quite the style of
those cars. You know.. it must be that one road legal 917 currently running in the silver Sebring Martini livery .
I've looked at the 2.1 RSR and can't make it match either, 934/5 neither.

Summing up, I'm at wits end. No idea.

What about the 935/2.0 baby?
Problem is the cars runs in 1977 and one picture from MFH indicates 1978.

Got no clue what it is.
