Re: New MFH full-detail 1/12 kit for June
I edited the image a bit and maybe that will help to identify. I think the "car" doesn't have a tubular frame, so no 936 !?

I would love to see the Ferrari 250 SWB in 1/12

Thee different colour palettes and three different SKUs suggests three different liveries to me. So it's got to be LMP.
Maybe 962? Rothman's, M@r!b*r* and Newman, maybe?

Je ne regrette rien.

I would say it goes somewhere in the range of a 934, RSR Turbo, Mobydick. On the top right you can see a sparkplug hole with that typical porsche clamp to hold down the plugwire. Guess other cars have that too And the whishbone reminds me of a Porsche 934...at least the rough shape !? and the brake wioth those fins in the first image reminds me also of Porsche brakes. So my bet is a Porsche with a roof...

Well I must say Daniel, that the pivot in the center does resemble an early '70's 911 locating point for the rear suspension.

Could be a 935 variation wich if it is I will pass on. Maybe a 935/78?? The tires on the Ferrari Daytona comp might be the right profile for a 935
The 1/20th cars are two it looks like. One is a 250F and the other maybe a 1959/1960 front engine Ferrari F1 with Dunlop tires.

But somebody said that the pictures indicate that there is no tube frame.
The Moby got an tube frame.
Maybe a RSR version of the 934?
Turbo Martini version?

Re: New MFH full-detail 1/12 kit for June
934 or 935 would both duplicate an existing 1/12 Tamiya kit. In both cases Tamiya have updated them with Cartograf decals and P/E parts in recent years. Surely MFH wouldnt expect to sell a few hundred copies of the same subject at a considerably higher price?
I was surprised MFH released the Lotus 49 for this reason (even though it is so much more accurate that the Tamiya kit). However maybe it sold well and MFH have decided to repeat the exercise. However one would imagine that the natural demand for duplicated subjects is bound to be lower than normal.
The website indicates that the kit "Comig soon" (sic) will have just two versions. Based on hope and no knowledge at all, I am hoping for 1977 and 1981 LM 936s!

I am 99% sure that is the rear axle/suspension of a 935/78.
