1/12 Tyrrell P34 parts on Shapeways
Hi, guys,
Finally I have something in 1/12th scale uploaded im my Shapeways shop. It's the first installment of parts for the Tamiya P34 Six Wheeler.
First, the "holed" seat. It's a detail so hard to do by drilling the original part of the kit. Even in the computer it's not an easy model to do. But in the end I think it's not too far a result from the few pictures I have of the car's seat.
Second, the "horned" airbox used in the 1976 Spanish GP weekend (maybe a team's joke with bullfighting?). I have included two tabs to insert the engine stacks; those tabs act like a base to sit the airbox over.
I already have more parts for the 1/12 P34 waiting to be tested. I hope to have time to do more 1/12 parts but not stop to do 1/20, of which I have a long list of ideas. One of them is to have these P34 parts scaled down, but it's not so easy as it looks, so it will take some time.
Thanks for all the support, and soon I'll return with more news.

The seat looks excellent. Now if someone could duplicate the rain tires then I can build the Japanese GP version. Maybe after a couple of beers one can attempt drilling all those holes in the Tamiya seat?
