This blurry image came up on Scalemates - looks like the Protar Renault RE23 is getting reboxed as well. Not much information yet, as it is not official from Italeri yet.

Wow ! That's a cool one. RE23 is welcome too.gtziaf wrote:Also, Italeri announces a brand new 1/12 Alfa Romeo 8C "Monza"!!!
Are they trying to bring 1/12 back ? I need to find a local supplier and start supporting their
efforts. Anyone knows good (in terms of sale prices) North American supplier ? If it's in Canada,
that would be even better.

More over, about a year ago, i sold some 179 decals to italeri too. Is this a pattern?
Maybe i should tell 'em i still have MP4/2C in stock too, as well as most of the ferrari's. Anyway, if one of these get sold to italeri, i now know time has come to get rid of rest.

It is official - Italeri released their 2019 Catalogue today.

Other things of interest: the 1/16 Gullwing coupe is back, as are the 1/24 LC2, Ford Escort, Fiat 131 and BMW M1 from Esci, along with the Protar 1/24 956.
It'll be interesting to see how the Alfa compares with the old Protar kits vs. the modern state of the art from other manufacturers. It's Italeri, so I have a feeling it'll be a lot closer to the 70's kits.

Je ne regrette rien.

Well, the image of the LC2 is not the first body style done by Protar, but the later, wider body (though not the even later style with the new lights that was done by Modelers).
Mistake when selecting the photo, or new tools?

For a hobby supposedly dying a slow death, there sure has been a lot of good news in the past year or so!

Megahobby.com actually stocked the Alfa 179, so i'm hoping they'll stock future Italeri kits as well.lezdep wrote:Wow ! That's a cool one. RE23 is welcome too.gtziaf wrote:Also, Italeri announces a brand new 1/12 Alfa Romeo 8C "Monza"!!!
