About getting the Alfa 8C “Right”. I hope it is nicely done, I am sure there will be room for improvement. However, the 8C I have on my shelf right now is derived from the Buraggo kit in 1/18 from the 1980’s. The other large scale option is the Pocher kit, which I considered building and as I looked at the nightmare people go through to reubuild those things into good models decided that was not for me. Italeri has been doing some really nice new kits so I suspect it will be good enough.

The Alfa Monza in great news. Italeri has been doing very nice kits. Maybe FPPM will do another set of hand laced wire wheels for this kit also. He has wheels for the 1/12th Bentley and FIAT's already wich are very nice. And good decals to do Tazio's 1932 Monaco winner as pictured. Wow...

Great to see that there is a company who got balls to do some new plastic kits in 1/12 scale.
Hey Tamiya, did you see that?

It really is pretty insane the way the scale model industry works. We have companies releasing 1/32 4 engine bombers like the Lancaster and a lot of great automotive subjects are just completely ignored. A large scale Alfa Romeo is a lot more sane than some of the stuff manufacturers are releasing now.

Then you have the whole universe of Toon models that are the rage and the trend toward issuing a model of every German vehicle that existed or was being designed during WWII. I have a suspicion that figure makers are quietly trying to make a figure of every German soldier that served in WWII also.

More over, about a year ago, i sold some 179 decals to italeri too. Is this a pattern?

Maybe i should tell 'em i still have MP4/2C in stock too, as well as most of the ferrari's. Anyway, if one of these get sold to italeri, i now know time has come to get rid of rest.

Wim
Hi Wim,
It seems you have good contacts with Italeri, please, suggest them to downscale to 1/20 the 1/12 RE23 !

Many thanks in advance

I may move some of the non-F1 posts into a new topic.

Looks perfect to me, Mr.E.
Each time I saw a new post, I thought we really had a new F in plastic! and then not...
So wouldn't it be great if Italeri reissued the T5, even if it's just a disguised T4???
