Aoshima posted a few teaser photos which show some engine parts (a caption even says so), but the level of detail is still unknown.

Still waiting for this one also.
The delivery of my order at HLJ was split in 2 parts.
I guess it will still take a while.

I haven't seen any mention of a release date for the 49 anywhere yet but according to Hobby Search, bizarely, Ebbro is going to "re-issue" the Lotus 72E already.
The kit will be completely unchanged but apparently the packaging or logo design will change.

But on a more interesting Lotus 72E note, Ebbro will also be releasing a Team Lotus Type 72E 1973 front metal sub frame (Accessory)

"assembled by brazing metal rod [metal front sub-frame]
Is. Please use the detail up the model.
- I can be attached to either of 20003,20009." at 1,530 yen about 14.96 USD

Ebbro had mentioned this release (front assembly) a while ago. IIRC, they were searching for someone to do it, as P/E wouldn't do it right.

I'm glad they've released it! It looks to be nice!
