I'm happy about the Toyota...there are so many cool looking classic Rallycars out there, hope that brings another flood of rallycars like in the erly 2000's with all those Peugeots and Subarus...

Both of those have 'build me' written across them in several different liveries.

Makes those who bought the recent MFH GTR a bit green I suspect.

That's why I'm so gutted it's a longtail. I'm sure Hobby Design or Studio 27 will offer a trans-kit to make the Fujimi McLaren F1 into a GTR, but I would have preferred it in plastic. Also, like it's been stated, Fujimi's quality has been really hit and miss and some of their engineering decisions have been really questionable, like molding the seat bottoms into the chassis pan on the F458 and the F12. Now, it may be that Fujimi has a shorttail GTR in the works since the only real difference between the street F1 and the GTR is the front valence, a rear wing, and Speedline wheels. We've seen with the F430 their ability to release different versions of essentially the same car.

That and I just don't like the look of the longtails.

The Celica deserves a loud "YEEEEHAAAA!!!" for me :)

OK, I have the transformed Tamiya Celica, but this one will be better.
I also prefer the '89 car with the semi-hidden headlights, looks much more "MEAN" than the raised headlights version.

So I'll have one for tarmac, one for gravel!

Great about the Toyota..!!! I sold my Studio 27 trans~kit a few years ago along with the Tamiya kit and thoroughly regretted my decision. The Aoshima kit will go a long way to healing those wounds...

Typical - you wait 20 years for a McLaren F1 in plastic, and then two come along at once! At least we're getting distinctly different versions.

As for the Celica, I'm fantastically excited. Hopefully they'll also do the 1990 Sainz championship winner at a later date.
