Wax pencils

Found this interesting pencils used for nail art, called wax pencils. Looks like a nice solution to pic up and glue tiny etched parts etc, i often use Patex on the tip of a needle, but first the patex glue has to dry a bit before it becomes "only" sticky and after some time it does not stick anymore, so this looks like a better solution to me. Anyone tried it or is actually working with it? A review on it would be nice!

Interesting find, thanks for posting it. But it might be better to go with the Ultimate Modelling Products photo-etch placer, that is specifically sold for use by modelers. It is available from a number of world-wide sources. Just google that entire name as I did to find out more information and some of the modeling suppliers that carry it.

I rolled beeswax between my fingers and attached it to a toothpick.

I have used those from UMP also. They work great. I found some similar on Wish too for a very cheap price. Works the same

Nice to see this theme is around and the reports of using such stuff or other solutions are coming up!
I was bored with my own solution as the time frame was not acceptable to work with, but wax, especially bee wax stays solid sticky all time. I don`t know what the UMP pencils contain, looks not like bee wax, so how long do they stay sticky Lesley? Any experience in this you can tell about?
To attach simple cheap bee wax to a toothpick sounds like the cheapest way in my opinion, great idea Seema!
