Avoid this at home...
Hi
When shaking a glass bottle with paint inside (and a metal ball), remember to cover it with a paper towel /tissue paper before the metal ball escapes through the side...
I will now...
Zero Tyrrell blue by the way... all over the place... Luckily no carpet in the mancave!

Yes. I’ve been there too. Bottle was already broken during shipping. Paint everywhere including my brand new sweater. I call it Suprdry by Zero Paints now
Best regards,

Re: Avoid this at home...
One of the last batch of Zero paints I received had a hairline crack in the bottle. I always give them a visual check before shaking so I was able to avoid spill but it seems to happen a lot.

Happend to me as well, a small yellow bottle. The stains are still visible all over the dining room wooden floor and table. Not a happy bunny back then. I will not be shaking any Zero bottles outside my hobby room anymore. The wife doesn't allow me...

Me too, with a 60ml grey primer bottle, the blue t-shirt I was wearing looks tie dyed and as for the rest you can see for yourself, fortunately my wife was out at the time so was able to clean the worst of it up before she got home.

Re: Avoid this at home...
Thank you for the warning. We've just had new carpets on our stairs and landing and redecorated. Since shaking a bottle is really boring, I often wander about the house shaking said bottle - I will certainly confine shaking to my modelling room in the future - at least if the disaster were to happen, it gives me chance to clear up the worst of it before Mrs Clark finding out. I think I've been saved from a swift but brutal death!

Put any paint bottle into a ziplock bag before shaking. This way, even if paint does come out, it will be in the bag and can be retrieved.
