I recently switched out from the double tube applicator-I was using Gorilla Glues product. It’s really hard to get anything other than a sizable blob out of the applicator, way more material than I’m after. So I recently switched to EZ Bond which can be found at www.pennkitmall.com. It comes in a variety of hardening times - I’m currently using the 5 minute epoxy but it also comes in 15 minute and one longer. Two bottles, yes, but with the ability to put very thin holes (using my modeling awl) in the caps. No mess because they’re separate and I can get at most a single small application size squeezed into my soda cap for application. Plus, I’ve been really impressed with the quality of the bond. Cleans up nicely, too.

Not sure if this tip has been covered, but most who work a lot with 5min or 1 or 10 minute types, know that as the joint starts to firm, you can take a brush wet with denatured alcohol and clean up the joint of any ooze or smears.
Pretty much only works in unpainted areas.

Joe.
