That looks like a fantastic build, never knew or heard of that kit before, too bad its not reproduced.
Re: Bugatti 35 1/8
Thank you all for yours visit and comments
The model is from the french company "Art Collection Auto"
In the 70"s they produced a built model of the Bugatti 35 (first in aluminium and later in brass I think)
Some years ago (maybe 10 or more) they produced a small serie of kits named "Challenger kit" (what it is..)
The cost for the kit was about 1600€, wich is a bargain for such kit...
The kit is very good and it's a pleasure to buid, something different
Many details where added to the kit and the instructions whee very poor
See below the instructions and a photo of the parts included in the kit..

Re: Bugatti 35 1/8
This is a beautifully built model of a famous race car.
Just one question, why the tyres are slick instead of the commonly seen tread tyre?

Re: Bugatti 35 1/8
The tyres are slick because the model is based on the first serie of Bugatti 35 that ran at the Lyon GP in 1924 xhere the tyres were slick
Art Collection Auto made other tyres with thread but the ones provided in the kit were slick

Thank you for spending the time to share that! I’ve not ordered the MFH Bugatti but reading what you posted was a special treat.
