There is a lot of great work here this year, especially the paint.

Happy New Year to all.

@manu, love the Tornado and the thrust reverser exhaust stains on the tail and that Su-34 looks really mean! Great work.

Only managed 2 for the year, a Jordan 191 and a 1/12 Protar Ferrati 126 c2. Here's the Jordan, I'll post the Ferrari separately. After waiting over a decade for Tamiya to produce the proper rattle can, I decided to paint the entire car with the recommended TS44, then use TS35 over it for the green areas. This resulted in a green that is somewhat darker than TS35, but not quite as dark as it probably should be. But I'm satisfied and plan to make the Pepsi version the same way. Rain tires came from Derek (Icon) and are fantastic. Decals from Indycals.

My other build from 2019. The ubiquitous Protar 1/12 Ferrari. Many thanks to our great friend James B for providing me with about a dozen replacements for various broken and missing parts. The tires are typical mediocre Protar, and I may consider his newly upgraded ones. This is the first time I tried stripping chrome plating and repainting them. Tamiya metallic silver over Tamiya black. Indycals decals. Sorry for the less than stellar photography.

Since I seem to rarely complete something, I better take advantage of the opportunity to celebrate a completion! Only used 34 of the original 129 kit parts from the MPC Indy Eagle to create this 1969 F5000 Eagle MkV Chevrolet.

Sorry a little late to the thread but 2019 was a pretty good year for me in terms of modelling. Made vast skill improvements and managed to finish 4 even though I took a break and didn't touch anything for 6 months in the middle of the year. Hope to be more consistent in 2020 and maybe finish 5-6 models.

I finished this one a day ago after months shelved. I didn't bother creating a finished thread for this because the kit was just so awful. The final assembly was such a dreadful process because nothing fit, I'd really recommend staying away from this kit. It wasn't even worth wasting a set of seatbelts on. Here it is in its most flattering angle:
