Tamiya 1/20 Williams FW13B

Post by gderoo »

My first finished model in over 2 decades.

All hand painted and can spraying.
This is my test model to get back in to it.
You will see there are no mirrors. By accident i lost one in the process

For your first car in 20 years its a good job. Not an easy car this one.

Looks great! Especially for hand painting everything.

Thanks For the comments. Yes everything is hand painted except For the body that has been done with a canspray. I didn’t do a clear coat to finish. Next model Will be done with a paintbrush. So I try to improve my skills again as it was 20y ago.

Nice work. I enjoy seeing driver figures in builds. I don’t have spare mirrors to give you, but surely someone does. It seems like this car has made a comeback on this forum in recent months!

I’m still not convinsed I should do a clear coat or not.
May be this one stays as it is. I have a spare FW13 sitting in a sealed box when I’m more expierienced again with the paintbrush.

Next up is the hellar Peugeot 905 ev1 bis.
This one is my test version For improving my paintbrush and detailing skills.
2 decades without any builds So I need to catch up...
