Post by kommando88 »

Hi gents,

Can anyone point me in the right direction where I can get a selection of different coloured wiring / tubing from in a few different gauges?

Thanks

If you are in the USA or Canada, you can try DigiKey.com or DigiKey.ca

Hi Mark,

Digikey does have a site in UK under www.digikey.co.uk

Actually, any electronic stores should have these wires ranging from 30AWG to 22AWG in different colors. They are called wire wrap wires. 30AWG wire has a metal core of 0.26mm (0.010"). The outer diameter of the sleeve is at 0.5mm (0.020").

Your local home improvement center should have a good selection. I have purchased shrink tub and wire from Home Depo in the USA.
