Looking for help finding a decal sheet.....

Post by Kitbash1 »

Good Morning All.

I know that this request is doomed to fail but I'm going to try anyway. I'm looking for a F1 Specialties decal sheet for the Kawai Honda F1 kit, that converts the kit into the 1983 Williams FW09 from the South African GP. I'm also looking for any feedback from anyone who's built this kit. I've gone over the kit and I know it's going to take a bit of work to make this model look less toy like. The first thing that needs work is the under tray, that battery box has to go along with the kits tires. I have a spare set of Good Years from my Tamiya parts box so thats one less thing to buy. Thanks in advance.

Douglas.

Eeer... would you make do with an El Oso set?
Actually it's as good or better than the F1s... at least it has some decals that the F1s lacks. Advantages or doing it later! :)
BTW, I think it was me who did it!
Oh yes it also has decals for the driver' suits and helmets...

Hell yea. I'll take one of your sheets. :D Send me a email at dgraves8sympatico.ca with price and your mailing address and we have a deal. Thanks James.

I asume the "8" what I supose... :) hey it's funny, "simpatico" means "easy going" in spanish...
I send you a mail with a f1m member price... ;-)

PS: about the car, well.... It's really bad but you can do a nice car with it.
It'd be advisable to fit an FW07 transaxle and a V6 Honda engine, and a set of Fujimi 126C2 wheels would also help... Oh lord I will end up discouraging you to get the decals!!!

I was thinking of using the Honda motor from a FW11 that I have in my parts box ( moving mishap ) and the trans axle from a spare Tamiya parts tree. As for the wheels, I could steal them out of one of my 126C2 kits and get replacements from Studio27 along with a PE set for the Fugimi kit. Oh wait, thats more money spent on a kit I haven't started yet. I'll get your decals and finish that kit before starting another.
