WIP: Tamiya MP4/6 1/12

First post here... just added some progress shots of the MP4/6 I'm working on in the gallery. I'll continue to update the build as it progresses. I'm waiting on the new P/E set for this kit from Thunder Valley F1 (Thanks Paul!) to arrive this week, but I have some decent progress to this point. I'm really going for the fence on this one and a FW 14B I have in progress as well. Alot of extra details and scratchbuilding using the Formula Perfect Manual for the McLaren and Andy Mathews Clearview for the Williams. Let me know what you think, everyone...

thanks for the direct link... I'll figure out what goes where around here eventually. Might get some pics of the Williams up tonight... It's still in the very early stages, but I'm going a different route with the build, so we'll see how it goes...

Here are some quick shots I took tonight.... can't say enough about Finishers Paint! It lays flat, covers nicely and the match for the McLaren Red/Pink is spot on! Simply a joy to work with! I'm waiting on some parts from Paul at Thundervalley to arrive, so I decided to paint the body, but I included some monocoque and engine pictures too. I think I need to master my camera... these pics are pretty dark and not so detailed, but enjoy...
