Orange peel all over the rear cowling - at least there are loads of clear coats! The right hand side hasn't been touched but the left hand side has had some sanding done to it - makes such a difference!

Nose has been sanded and polished and attached to the front wing...

Alrighty - The cowling is finished & I've added some bare metal foil to the underside incase I mount the kit with the cowing off... The polishing really shows up the imperfections, luckily I've been able to hide some of them from the photos =))) It's by no means as perfect as some of the kits on this site, but I'm happy how it's turning out for my first kit in many many years..

FYI - Here's how you insert the seat into the bottom of the assembled tub:

Hi All - The kit is pretty much finished now, thanks to everyone who gave advice, especially in the early stages. I'm still missing the nose tobacco decal and as a result can't clear and polish the main tub - this also means the suspension and mirrors are only mocked up. Seeing as it's at least a week or so away from final completion, I thought I'd post final pics in the Completed Projects forum once it's all finished...

Hopefully I've shown what to do & what not to do, so enjoy and any criticism welcome as it'll help with the next kit!

Thanks for looking & replying.

SMS sent me an email advising they shipped today, there was a delay in printing the instructions =) should have told them i only needed the west one =)

I've got my hands on a 1/18 acrylic case, so the final pics should be in the completed forum once the decals arrive!

Nice ! - I have finished my Mp4/20 Test Version with the the briliant ZeroPaint Orange and conversion decals and 2 part clear also from ZP - It looks really nice, wish I had a DC to take pictures so that I could show it here, I will have to save up for a DC as i am spending most of my moneys on models and paints and decals and stuffs ... Still cannot wait to see yours finished !
