Today I did the rear suspension and exhaust. Then I started airbrushing the first body parts, I used Aquacolor Blue 52 mixed with a bit of white, then Mr. Hobby Clearcoat.

Don't know if anyone is still interested ;) but I married chassis and engine and added more wiring. The rollbar was painted with Tamiya Paintmarker, the oiltank(?) airbrushed with Aqua Color silver, wasn't sure which one is best, but both work ;)

This weekend it was time for painting the body and putting on the decals. Indycal decals are very thin, so one has to be careful, but the colours are much better than the original. Clear is still missing, will be done this evening.

Looks great, before spraying the chassis did you use a primer or just spray the silver straight on to the plastic?

Thx all :)
The aluminium was sprayed straight on the plastic, the blue was primed before.

So, it's finished

There were no belts in the kit, but in the 312T4 i built were normal and etched belt parts, and as i used the normal parts there I had a set of etched belts to use here.

Then i mounted the radiators and the rear wing.

Finally finished, now I need good weather for some gallery pictures.

Thanks for watching.
