Tyrrell P34, Tamiya 1/12
Hi
I thought I might post my current WIP here, too. The knowledgeable members of this place might have some useful tips
I have the old version of the kit without etch parts, but I got some replacement decals from indycals (white instead of the grey originals ). I started with the main parts of the engine and the front. I did some detailing with different cables there. Next will be front suspension and finishing the engine.

that looks great, I like the detail your adding too. The finish on the tub looks nice too, what silver did you use?

I airbrushed Revell Aqua Color Aluminium, thinned with water.

Finished the front suspension today, twice as difficult as normal suspensions
I like the springs Tamiya used for the brake ventilation.

Not "big" progress this weekend, but lots of small progress. Except for the standard Cosworth engine cabling (fuel + ignition) I added many wires to the cockpit, as it will be clearly visible in the finished model due to the removable front cowling.

Engine and gearbox put together, and some wiring:
That's how everything looks so far:
Not much progress this week, because before i start painting the bodywork, i wanted to practise a bit more with the airbrush (still new to it). So I built a Revell Montoya Williams as one-weekend project, just to practise airbrushing - not perfect, so not a whole thread, but only a small pic
