Wowow, great great build!!!! For finisher's GP2 automotive clearcoat, is it true that you only need 1 coat and you can start polishing rightwayand call it done after that? I read somewhere from Rainbow 10 than GP2 cannot be sprayed on top of the other, or it will crack..... :O

For most of the 2K clear coat including GP2, it is not elastic at all. So, it may be cracked if you bend/twist your parts accidentially while polishing the part. However, if you do the job carefully, crack will not happen.

There is no definition for "1 COAT". You will get some more experience as time goes by.
However, you still need to wait for it dries. It dries much faster when temp is high. For example, if temp is 60C, it dries in about 2 to 3 hr. If temp is under 20C, it could take about 72 hr to driy.

One more important pt, GP2 cannot dissolve on top of a DRIED GP2. So, when you apply a layer of GP2 on top of DRIED GP2 and doing some Polish Job on the new layer, if you over polish the new layer, you may see there is a mark on the over polished area.
