Great start - nicely drilled out suspension pieces - this looks like being a real beauty when it's finished.

I haven't made any update for a long long time. Let see how slow I am

After having some more study on the 126CK (Monaco Version), I found that there should not be any panel line on the side of the body. So, I just filled up the Panel Line (Actually my friend did that for me  ). However, this was not an easy job since the Panel Line was in between Resin Body and PE. It took some time to get it done.

Moreover, I have put some clear coat on the Rosso Formula One (It is from RICEBOX production). It is easy to control. It looks great after polishing.

I have stuggled for the coming step since it would take much time. Finally, I started on it. I implanted Rivets all over the body. This was a boring job.
I drilled 0.4mm holes on the car body

The car body was polished by compound

Then put the Rivets in. The Rivets were coming from RICEBOX production. The stem is 0.4mm and the head is about 0.5mm.

Finally, I will apply some metal primer on top for protection purpose.

Some more side dish !

It is a time to paint the engine.

Some Alclad have been used
For the engine block and the gear box. Titanium Gold is used
Image

In addition, I have tried to apply WASH (x-18) on the engine block and there is no problem on the paint at all

Then I have to replicate some burning effect
Step 1. Duraluminium
Image

Step 2. Jet Exhaust

Step 3. Gunze Flat Black (lightly apply)

Very nice! Really like the rivet application and your engine painting is outstanding.
