WIP my current project decals

Post by garymc »

Hi everyone I tried the red decals and they came out pretty good, once clear coated and polished the end result will be good.Had to use alot of softening solution to make them conform to the contours but it was easyer than matching that red paint. So can anyone tell me where I can find mclaren boron red,I've looked in a few places but cannot seem to find any.I also got the exhaust and radiator piping completed that I made from solder.

thanks for your replys,Gary

That's coming along well Gary. Well done.

I'd given hiroboy a try on the paint. Zero paints have a matched Fluro red color.

Otherwise, I think Finishers has the color in its range. Mac may be able to help you on that?

Gary,

I can highly recommended Zero Paints, I have just used the blue on my current project (Subaru Imprezza) and Im very impressed. The model is looking excellent too, your work is very clean and tidy. Great stuff, keep em comin.
