Bravo!!! ....absolutely amazing and astounding! Yes, I have one too, so I really appreciate the "pioneering"....and would love to know what aluminum paint that you mentioned would make a great substitute. Thanks, and I look very forward to more of your progress threads....you inspire us all.....Steve Mohlenkamp
when I was young, all the boys made model cars, ...some of us just never stopped !

Yes !!!
That's really nice!
I'm really hopeful that the SilverLine version of this kit will be part of their December releases (certainly given they've decided on races to kit, they must be making some progress). I've really enjoyed this thread - in particular following your solutions for the body work. The motorchrome looks to be the perfect product for this car!
Can't wait to see it finished.

Pictures of the paint.
I was told that Hiroboy may be willing to mix up some orange but didnt even ask. Maybe if everyone is nice to him he will fix the problem because this paint that I used is a pain to work with!
This is the Aluminum that is a good match and has a great shine.
I used it to touch up spots and you cant even see the spots.
Enjoy and the next pictures will be in the completed forum.
