P.S. Today I spoke to Jo Vonlanthen briefly on the phone, a nice conversation.
I was looking for more detailed pictures and I am now thinking a step further or closer to them !! :D :D

Today it was time for the dashboard!
Even if it's not finished yet - I'm still waiting for a few decals from Wim - I'm actually satisfied with the result... :D

Hi Steinietrabi,

The latest updates are looking good.
Whats the connection with Jo Vonlanthen and that FW09? (Owner?)
Which museum is that?

Malc.

Thank you :D

So Jo (sitting in the car) has his own exhibition in Switzerland.
Unfortunately I have not been able to visit them yet, but I am cordially invited - let's see what the next time will bring and how the general situation will continue.

I came to Jo and the exhibition because he has an FW09 in this exhibition and while I am researching some detailed pictures.
So I got in touch with him to see if there were any more pictures of the less photographed areas.
I spoke to him on the phone and he made contact with a well-known photographer who has also photographed the vehicle several times. Maybe I can get more photos through him or I can have different things photographed.
But because of the work I haven't gotten to speak to the photographer yet.

nice job!

I just did my seat belts this week on 3D printer too.

It has been a nightmare, I have tried to make the tamiya helmets with no success.... I see yours are really awesome. Did you do by yourself or get the file somewhere?

Yes, 3D printing is a great thing. 8)
What didn't work?

I got the data for the helmets in the picture above from someone, but he also designed them himself.
I just did a quick test print to test the data. But I've also made helmets myself after having had problems with the Senna's Kart helmet in the past...
