The overall result will take some time, but I had to paint a few things first because I didn't want to see the sandpaper anymore...

I know this feeling all too well.

I am still impressed about the great amount of details you are putting in this kit. These wheels look amazing!

So I did some work on the chassis again (filling and sanding   ).
The rear corners of the side pods have the correct shape, but there was no material behind them, which does not correspond to the original. So I filled it up with Milliput and later after the first sanding I straightened it again with Mr. Surfacer 500.
In the area of the base plate there were still holes that reached into the cockpit, here I closed them with Milliput, too.
So the floor assembly is actually finished. I won't paint here until I've also tested the front suspension.
In addition, the monocoque has to be put in and out a few times. So, in short, it doesn't make sense up to date.

I also painted a few things - shift linkages (kit part FW07), radiators (3d print part), control unit (3d print part) and I couldn't help missing another detail on the tire with a self-made template I sprayed the car number - I had seen it in GPI Magazine.

But I have a question in the group:
Can you give me a tip on how I can best recreate the rivets on the tank behind the cockpit. I actually didn't want to drill and set rivets as they would have to be very small. I will add carbon decal to the tank and then I wanted to make the rivets visible - the question is how do I best do that?

One possibility is to use the Archer resin rivet decals - https://www.archertransfers.com/PAGE_Rivetpic.html
They are available in a variety of sizes.

That makes me think: would you guy be interested on rivets (decal, absolutely flat) in silver/black, on dofferent sizes? his can be done... I've included some in some of my cars, but never thought of making a "set" of them... 8)
