If memory serves, Depailler's Japanese GP car did not have the modified rear wing and engine cover but did have the Tyrell marking in katakana.
And the wet weather tyres from Icon are highly recommended. Wim/Bestbalsakit is a great source if you are in the EU. You can also order directly from Icon which is great if you are in the US:

Gah that joint gap on the front cowling is a beast. Filled it with putty and sanded it down. Shot it with Tamiya fine white primer and still have spots in the seam.
This one is gonna take some time for sure.

Re: 1976 Tyrrell P34
Put some paint down yesterday and I was pretty happy with it. Tonight I started decals. I’ll finish tomorrow during the F1 race. Once all of that is done I’ll start working on the rest.
Re: 1976 Tyrrell P34
Finished up the decals except for the two wing end plates.
Now onto the rest of the kit.

Those Indycals really pop. The kit decals would never look that good.

Agreed! I'm glad I went this route, but part of me wishes I went with Depallier instead. Oh well right?Daryl_Huhtala wrote:Those Indycals really pop. The kit decals would never look that good.

You could get the Fujimi kit and do Depailler or the Tamiya 1977 car. I went for the last option for this.
