I bought this from Lezdep a while back. I can't recall if I bargained a WIP for his discount, but i'll post one regardless.
I started it a few months ago but screwed up the first paint job. I gave some Testors jar fluo red a try but it never got red enough.....and it turned out to be a base flat fluo red. I let that set then thought i'd gamble and put a wet coat of TS36 over it........thaaaaaaat didn't work. I went back and stripped it and attempt #2 was with just TS36. It took 5 coats but this time I also got a tight mask.
The 2nd hurtle will be Studio 27s cloned Tamiya MP4/8 rear wing......it's pretty rough besides being ONE piece.
Anyone have a spare Tamiya 4/8 rear wing? Guessing that might end up looking better.

- There is a nice dotted line seam, right down the middle of the end plate

- 1st try. I put on so many coats of Testors trying to get it darker (but it seemed to plateau) that it was still too wet when I pulled the tape back and lost the sharp edge.
