Was a nightmares job to open all the numerous ventilation slots with a knife and sandpaper.

hope can help You. I found a very simple method.First I tried a fiber glass erazor, but the diameter is too big. Then I took a replacement fiber glass erazor, To reduce the diameter I pushed it in a metal tube, having the wanted diameter and put it in my drill. The circles at the Bugatti are drilled free hand. You can use a linear to drill them in a more straight line, but for me free hand were OK. If You use it on white metal, it's better to polish it before drilling. If it is plastic use self adhesive metal foil.

Re: Bugatti Type 35 1/12
I revised the steering wheel. The plastic rim seems to be a little bit too wide and massive, so it was replaced by a wooden rim. the PE rim was reduced a little bit( marked circle on the second pic).
Wooden rim was made by two layers glued veneer each side.

Re: Bugatti Type 35 1/12
yet again, it is amazing work!
It is actually hard to see that it is 1/12 and not a larger scale.
The turned aluminium is terrific, absolutely terrific!
