The build is finished now. Car is complete, but the motor cowling did not fit. So made an 'open model' with a detached cowling.

You did a great job on this one as I suspected. Tons of great detail work and it is fun to just study the pictures to pick out more and more things done very well on this build.

But how did you resolved the problem of side pod cowling and the intercooler dimension?

What an outstanding job you did! I was working on her smaller sister the Fujimi 1/20 before coming back to Italy.
One thing I still struggle to understand, is how it is possible that MFH with such steep prices, release kits which do not fit and in some (many) cases the cowling does not sit flush with the rest of the body. Totally beyond me.

I succeeded in placing the side pods by reducing the cowlings at the inside, where the touch the the cooler, by a tooth drill.
But the main cowling didn't fit at all.
