These are indeed the short ones wasn't an easy job but i think it looks okay.gp-models wrote:Indeed a very nice start on this one!
Still like such builds a lot, keep it comin!
What shock absorbers did you use? There are 3 different types, from long to short, looks like the short ones.

Re: Tamiya Leyton house CG901b 1/20
After some time i desided to go on and finish this project. Still plenty of stuff to do but i'll try to keep you guys updated.
The things if done over the past days are the decals/clear and the cockpit. i still need to do some cf decaling.
here are some pictures of it so far:
didn't know how to fix the seatbelts so i've used some alu rod (0.6mm) and bended it in a U shape:
Ive drilled the bolts on the steeringwheel and replaced them with metal ones:

Build looks great with all the extra details you added! Could I ask what size/brand heat shrink tubing you used for the wires? The smallest ones I had from top studio still looked massive compared to the connector/wire after shrinking, but yours looks perfect.

I actually uses the ones that come with the 1/20and 1/24 1,25mm connectors from top studio. but i only use it for the transition from the brass part to the wire. i glue a small diameter (tamiya 0.5mm wire) to the brass part. Then i cut a small piece of shrink tube and slide it in place and apply heat. this way the wires are thin and i think easier to shape.ziggysdesk wrote:Build looks great with all the extra details you added! i've added a picture (i hope you can see what i mean)
