The materials ( metal sheets with photoresist coating, developer and etching bath ) are available from Conrad as well.
Unfortunately they closed their shop up the road from my place so now I have to order online again.
The offset printing film has become the most expensive part. You might find a place locally to do it for you. They are getting less and less though because printing is now mostly all digital and doesn't need the messy films anymore. 10 years ago I had a friend do them for free at work... those were the days
There Webside is still active Joachim, maybe an old link you have, but they are still in buisness.
The films might get a problem at some point, but they are the best way to go in my view, doing them on your own at home means using a Laserprinter or similar which don`t cover the quality of a real film done by a "Reprographie" center, heard about several problems with doing them at home, no solid black prints etc. which causes problems in the etching process.
Actually i have enough local sources to get such films, only thing is the missing experience in drawing the stuff in CAD! ^^
Hi everyone, thanks for your interest and the lively discussion about etching. In fact, Saemann is still in business and can be contacted by phone and/or e-mail. I order all my stuff from him by mail.
On the RSR build, I finally could finish all parts/sub-assemblies of the rear suspension. Engine with intercooler is now mated to the chassis and the suspension/damper parts are installed as well. Likewise the left/right half-shafts.
Next will be to install the fuel tank and I'm going to tackle the dashboard.
