Re: MFH 911 Carrera RSR Turbo
Hi there, a little update about the building progress. The engine is almost completed however still missing the turbo components. The engine/transmission consists of more than 500 parts and took me about 200hrs for parts design and build time. Next step will be to complete the engine with the turbo parts and then go on with the chassis.

Re: MFH 911 Carrera RSR Turbo
thanks for your interest and valued comments
Finally I could finish the engine including turbo unit and intercooler.
Next was to temporarily "marriage" the drive train with the chassis/bodywork. The fit looks perfect so far.
On the waste gate unit there is a cylinder with metal wire wrapped around. Does anyone know the function of this part ? Looks like a cooling device, but I'm not sure. Would very much appreciate your view

Awesome detailing Uli! It`s just a model on it`s own, realy like the effort you put in all those details and how clean and scale looking they pop out finaly, keep going!
Take a stand!
