After some family stuff... was finally able to get back in the "man-cave" and finish this one up. Just finished her tonight and will do some proper nice pics, but here's the beast on the bench. Still have a LOT to learn, but had a good time with this one and learning as I go.

The wires for the wings presented a REAL challenge - especially the two on the rear wing.
(I know they're kinda hard to see, but they're there.)

Nice, looks super. Love that livery, a tricky masking job to pull off but you've made a great job. Look forward to seeing more builds from you.

Great paintjob, I'm still scared to tackle this one myself!

Looks awesome! Like many, I have this kit and have been reluctant to start it because of the livery. You've done a great job inside and out.

Thanks Davey, I was tested for certain with the mask job. By far the hardest paint job I've ever attempted. Came out okay, it's such a striking paint scheme that even with my mess-ups it looks pretty good.

Trust me, if I can do it - darn near anyone could. And not meaning that lightly or arrogantly - I'm just usually not a patient person but told myself I was gonna take my time and "try" and do this one right. Even if I had to walk away from it at certain times, which is what I did. There were a couple of ARRRGGHH moments where I just got up, turned off the light and shut the door. Went back later.

Thanks!! I tried something different on the engine (valve cover color) and it backfired, but that's okay, I still like it.
I will say, for me, the most trying part of the build (or one of the most) were the two rear wing wire stabilizers. The front one wasn't too bad, took some patience, for sure, but the rear - OMG!!! Very frustrating. The rear pieces aren't pre bent and they are both too long. Took me about two hours just to get the wire bits on the wings - but Soooo worth it.
