Quick update, starting the CF process
Used kit decal for spraying
Used large pattern for the upright portion of the pan
Pattern cut and masks prepared for back part of chassis pan
Small pattern applied on PE that will be removed and bent to put on chassis pan
More to follow

Cf experiment in full swing
Large pattern , with TS smoke on top after pulling masks
Small pattern
Some touch up needed
No CF on these parts per pictures
Will use regular pattern masks on suspension
And mix of decals on rest
And now paint
First time using Splash paints, think I need more practice here
It ate through the pink prinervfur some reason,
And then the fish eyes, so I stopped to consider options
Interestingly I sprayed other parts with TS49 to test and had no issues at all
So here I stand
Will see

Great work so far, pretty frustrating about the Splash paints fish eyes, I feel your pain.

Great work on the carbon fiber! Sorry about the paint reaction on the primer. Body work can be extremely frustrating at times. Maybe just go with the TS instead?

I googled his build and as always beautiful finish
My only thing is the front plate that is a separate part i have blended in which matches my real pictures and his CF looks great however my references show the patterns in different areas on the real car

C/F decaling looks great. You say you overspray with smoke, do you also varnish, if so do you gloss or S/G? Good save on the bodywork, any idea what caused the original problems?
