Ferrari 312F1, Chris Amon, Monaco 1967. MFH 1/12.

It is a bit strange, but it is right Wim. I think 312T and 312T2 had such "standing" Battery too.
On thiss you only can imagine it, barely visible.

Looks that way. Although in the video link below it seems the caps are not facing backwards but towards the left side.

The first picture i posted is from Monaco 67, the second i don`t know, but caps backwards too, the video seems to be a restored `68 car, different rear subframe!

Hi,
Thanks for your comments.
Those batteries were filled with gel and came from aircraft industry.
They were then massively used in race cars, rallye cars... boats due to their compactness and capability to be installed in any position.
This can easily be seen in the T4 for example.
Varley aviation and racing batteries are well known and... installed on Ferrari

Yeah, T5 had one in laying position, they played a bit with the position from race to race.

Hi,
Small progress ...
Preparation and installation of the hose and the serflexes on the pipes of the cooling system.
The tightening of the collar is simulated using aluminum foil and a piece of welding wire.
Same preparation for the 2 cooling scoops.
Test and alignment of the 1/2 rear axles and rods of the anti-roll bar.

Hi,
Few progress and improvements.
I wanted to rebuild the anti roll bar with brass, but the original is good and almost hidden behind the tank...
The grills are installed on the radiator and the simulated inside tubing is still visible.
A new Sandow will replace the white metal part.

Hi,
Still progression both on the rear and front.
Difference between before and after work on white metal parts.
The small bucket doesn’t belong to the 312F1...but to a Tipo 500.
I wanted to install thin aluminum sheet on the structure.
