MFH Gurney Eagle
Greetings All,
I thought I'd share a few photos of My latest build, of the MFH Gurney eagle.
This is my 3rd MFH kit and has been the most challenging. I've had a few minor fitting issues but mostly The main body work gets painted and put on the tub early and you have to manhandle it a lot to assemble the rest of the model. It weighs a lot and I've messed up the paint a bit. I'll try to polish it up at the end. For the most part It's turning out well.

If that's a messed up paint job I fear seeing a perfect one from you . This looks absolutely beautiful and I agree
with others that this is most likely the most beautiful F1 car of all time. The dark blue being my favourite colour
might be helping its case a little.

Re: MFH Gurney Eagle
That’s gorgeous. I’m working on this also and yours is so good we won’t show mine. I wrapped the body in some non-stick medical gauze, it sticks to itself but not to anything else. You have to handle the body a lot after putting the sides on and that was my protective solution. Worked great. I also had to take a lot lot metal off to get the cockpit surround to fit, it’s still only “ok” even so. I used the Zero paint for Eagle T1G. I love the way it looks.

Awesome!! The Eagle is coming along famously. Ilove this car, a few in the stash waiting to be built, and you are certainly giving me some inspiration. Keep up the great work.
Cheers,
Chris

Fantastic, love the heat staining on the exhaust. Looks perfect to my eye.
