Re: Zanardi Jordan 191
The decals finally arrived from Japan, so I can finish this one up. Can anyone familiar with Japan tell me why they send a sheet of decals in a box? Do they not have large envelopes over there or what? I'm thinking a flat piece would have gotten to me a LOT quicker.

Here's the mostly done Zanardi car. The rear wing tension wires need to be figured out.

Looking good!!! Always perplexed me as to why decals get sent in a box? Suppose it's the ultimate protection for them..

What a beautiful car. I miss Gary Anderson designs....
Great work Bossy. No clear coat on that right?
Cheers,
AJ

Not yet. I was just so happy to get it this far.

Re: Zanardi Jordan 191
Each time I ordered only decals, I received them in an envelope. Strange...
The Jordan looks fantastic! It's always nice to see a well known model being build in a different version.
The Lotus 91 and the Jordan within a few days. You seem to have a nice run, Bossy!

Thanks. I actually had this Lotus mostly completed a year or two ago, but what was'nt finished came in really handy while I waited for the Jordan decals. Sadly, the pile of starteds gets bigger faster than the completed pile.

Re: Zanardi Jordan 191
A couple of pics I meant to take last time.
Re: Zanardi Jordan 191
Very nice work so far, but i wonder about the colour you used, seems to shiny/light in my view. Maybe i`m wrong cause it depends on the light the pictures are taken, but Tamiya`s instructions calls for a mixture of 2 greens, not only one colour! The mixture is matching close to the original colour, but the park green appears unfortunately not matching.
Overall good work with the changed front wing.

Yes, that's one of those colors that, unless you see it in person, the pictures you see range vastly from dark green to really lite green. As I said, I had an old 7up big rig van at work for reference and the Park Green was pretty close.
