Zanardi Jordan 191
I started this a month or so ago. I wanted to do a quick curbside of Zanardis Pepsi day from Japan of '91. Couple of differences that I have spotted: 1. The front wing. For that I bought willsters Shapeways front wing and rear brake ducts. 2. Rear brake ducts ( see previous). 3. It looks to me as though there were no little radiators in the rear wheel area so I epoxy puttied of over that. and finally, 4. The rear wing has 1 more element than comes with the Tamiya kit. Pretend I didn't tell you that as mine doesn't have the 5th wing.
Progress so far....

Fantastic so far! I have the decals to do this version as well. I'll ask the inevitable question: What paints did you use for both of the greens?

That is TS 35 park green and TS 44 for the blue. On a prior 191 I used Mr. Color 66 spray but as it happened, where I work we got an old 7UP trailer and it looked much closer to the park green than I had thought. The light green is X 15, airbrushed.

Re: Zanardi Jordan 191
I trimmed down the front wing parts by clipping, sawing and then shaving the 2 sides to look as close as possible.......fun!

Re: Zanardi Jordan 191
Maybe someone else can tell me; it looks to me like there is some sort of extension at the front of the side pods at the intakes, but no pic I have is really clear enough to tell. I think i'm seeing 2 extra dzus' and a vertical seam. Anyone know for sure? Not sure how I would fabricate that.

Looking great Bossy, can't wait to see those parts installed!!
Sent you a PM about that wing too, shouldn't be a problem to knock out from what I can tell, Let's touch base on the sizes as I don't have that kit available to measure!!

Eagleeye!
I would not have noticed it without you mentioning it.
It seems to me Jordan reduced the size of the intake by expending the blue bodywork to the front.
At Spa the intake ends bellow the second "o" of "Brooksfield". At Monza it ends bellow the "f". It seems they continued to use this modification until the end of the season.

Re: Zanardi Jordan 191
I looked at the race variations at the back of the Tamiya Perfect manual and they have it drawn on those last few races. Unfortunatley, no pics of it of any use. So that puts the differences at 5, not including the rear wing tension wires.
