Re: Zanardi Jordan 191
It's interesting that on Zanardis car, the dzus are arranged differently. What i'd be interested to see is the panel itself and how it's shaped at the end.

Left rear brake with extra duct all carboned and place...
Oh, having seen a published build of Schumachers 191, the later cars had different gear boxes. 6th difference.

Re: Zanardi Jordan 191
The front wing all done up. I wanted to try and fabricate a lip for the inner part of the wing but my solutions kept having ungodly seams that should not be there. Lesson learned: fabricate that BEFORE assembling, puttying and painting the thing! Oh, well.

Re: Zanardi Jordan 191
Wheel and tyre progress. I so badly wanted to stencil these but I seem incapable of mastering the trick of painting stencils as they always come out with a huge fading edge.
For those wonderful yellow rings, I find that if you cut them in half or into 3rds, they go on WAAAY easier than trying to wrestle that whole thing into place....especially on the rears.
One more difference I have found for the late season 191s: they switched to the red and blue wheel nuts.

Re: Zanardi Jordan 191
Almost there. Still waiting for some replacement decals to arrive so I can apply the sidepod lite greens that were ruined from my one kit and could'nt match up shades from other kits. I fear a Godzilla or a green Gargantua may have sunk the boat they were coming across on.
Then it will be down to figuring out how to do the lines to the rear wing....

Got a good looking build on the go there. Going to look great when you get the green decals on the sidepods. Look forward to seeing this finished.

Fabulous. The 191 is such a good looking car, and having both Pepsi and 7Up sponsorship means there is no excuse for not building two!

The 191 had so many variations and drivers, you can do more than 2. This will be my 3rd one. The first one took a nasty fall and did not survive. The 2nd one I did as an early season version, covered nose to tail in S27s carbon. If I could motivate the mail man to give me my shipment from Japan, I could finish this one.
A pic of #2. The rear wing for the first couple of races was all carbon. Gave it an interesting look, I thought.
