Surtees TS16

Post by Orso »

Earlier I built the Matchbox Surtees TS16/03: viewtopic.php?f=64&t=22940&p=316509#p316509

Now I have found a second kit cheap. The reason for the kit to be cheap was that a complete front wheel was missing.
I'm trying to build a new one. The rim is a little bit more coarse than the original and the tire need more filler but I'm getting there.

But as I was going to convert the kit I thought that I would take a chance buying it hoping that I would get a wheel some how.

The first car was an early 1974 season version and now I'm trying to get the late season car. It is starting to look like a completely different car.
I think I have built up the shapes and need to bring out some filler.

Bjorn,

Always good to see these little kits built, and built well.

I have two sets of spare wheels and the tyres (fronts and rears) as I did, like many, conversions into slot cars. If you want them they are yours. PM me your address and i'll happily post to you.
