Update, i've started to apply some decals!

I was hoping to be able to use the front wing from an ebbro mclaren set to fit the front of this car, however I purchased a SF15T conversion kit that I Expected would have a front wing with it, and it didn't! so now it's back to the drawing board... Maybe make a resin cast of the ebbro piece?

Still Looking for that F2008 kit :D

Coming along beautifully!! Honestly, never thought I'd say that word in conjunction with the F14-T, but you've pulled off a miracle. Gonna be great in your collection.
Cheers,
Chris

Here we go, all man body sponsor decals have been applied. There is still some carbon work to do though. I just wanted something to look at whilst i crack on with the tedious bits, so now we're all decaled up!

Either side of the bit of the chassis where the drivers legs are, there's a Santander Logo, and under this there is a Weichai Logo. It seemed silly to try and get a custom white decal sheet printed just to add 2 decals, so I came up with the idea of removing the stickers, not decals, from my 1:24 reference RC model.

It cost about £10 or something from eBay - so cheaper than getting a set of decals printed... To accomplish this I held the model car over a boiling kettle to melt the sticker glue until it peeled off without me having to pull very hard (this avoids stretching or destroying the sticker)

The sticker smoothed onto the chassis removing silvering.
Theres still a bit of a rough edge but I hope the final clear coat will mask this a bit.

As this worked so well I decided to steal the UPS stickers as well, this saves the UPS decals I have for the upcoming SF15T build, saving me a bit of money.

Your sticker idea is so cool! Great improvisation skills :) Looking forward to seeing this come together.
