Hello everyone,
I will show you my current project. As the title says, it is the 1991 Benetton B190B US GP. This is the 1/24 scale Hasegawa kit that I have for some time already and after buying a new set of decals from Shunko I decided to give it a "go".
I am not planning on add any detail other than maybe, seat belts. But I'll have to scratch build the ends of the front wings to looks like the ones showing on the Hasegawa's box art, see third picture below.
So, this is what I have done so far, test fitting:
See you back soon!
Cheers,
Starr

I just used Shunko decals for the first time last night. Fantastic quality, if your Benetton one's are as good this will a cracking build.

Hi Guil: Glad to see you're building. This is a great looking car and I've always liked this livery. I'll follow with interest. I poked around with my Fujimi Porsche 917K for a while on the 4th- but made little progress. To many outside chores to stay long on a model. Keep up the good work and let us see your progress.
Take care,
Michael

Hi guys,
Sorry for the long time without any update. Too much going on here.
Now for the updated on my w.i.p.:
The engine is almost done, I still not liking the weathering on the headers, I used the Tamiya's one for the first time.
DSC09381
I used red Tamiya's seat belt and Detail Master PE.
DSC09382
I applied the tire dry transfer only on the "outside", I am afraid to turn them over to apply on the other side and damage the side already done.
DSC09380
On the floor pan, I used Tamiya semi gloss black and Zero Paint Kevlar
DSC09330
See you next time.
Cheers,
Starr
